Onion Rings

Onion rings, usually produced using a soft wheat base with other minor ingredients. Among all onions powder or onion paste. This shape, as many others, might be produced using a twin or single screw extruder some time associated with a forming extruder. The second extruder might deliver a better shape and finer texture compared to just a single extruder. However terms such as “better shape” or “better texture” have very subjective meanings. What is better for me might not be better for a Japanese or a Mexican consumer who have different quality perception for sure. Thus, the real bet is to satisfy local consumer expectation rather than looking for a standard, wonderful, production method (this is usually the extruders supplier description of its own products) .... wouldn’t you do the same?
